Fil took up sticks seriously in the late 1960s whilst a student at Exeter College Of Art, and since then has played regularly with:

- and, irregularly, with numerous other bands on a temporary or session-basis.

 

In 2016 he assembled a small group of friends, with whom he had long wanted to perform; calling the pop-up band "Fil Baker’s FAT CHANCE", the recorded result is the album: “Just For The Record” - of which, more will be found under the "MUSIC" tab.
